All spring, Somer Valley residents have been creating art work which will soon be on the High Street as part of Midsomer Music & Arts Festival.
The theme of the trail is MY HIGH STREET – celebrating the wonderful shops, trades, business owners and buildings in our town. It will be on display from Friday 19 May to Friday 9 June, across dozens of High Street venues. Works will also be displayed in the Town Park as part of Midsomer Music Festival on 3 June.
As part of the trail, we are also hosting two shopfront installations created by talented local artists. These are:
“Fantasy Shops” by Frederick Van Haaps in collaboration with local school children (Unit 14, 14 South Road, BA3 2EZ)
“My High Street” by “Emvy” Michelle Venn (Jacarandas Coffee Shop, 109 High Street, BA3 2DA)
